Zac & Josephine have joined the Painted Rock Farm family. These gentle cats came from a loving and caring home. Although we reserve the spaces available at our farm for only those animals who need our help the most, we could not help but be moved by Zac & Josephine's owners story.

Zac and Josephine's owners were a young family with a five year old daughter and a new baby that arrived much to early. When their little boy finally left the hospital and came home for the first time they discovered that their son's health was frightfully compromised with the presence of the cats and they realized that they needed to act immediately.
With heavy hearts they knew that they had no choice but to rehome their precious pets. Desparate and out of options they sent us an email explaining the urgency of their situation. The following morning they called and I knew we had to help this family out. Fourteen hours after they first contacted us, Zac & Josephine arrive here at the farm.Zac trying to plan his escape from the enclosure.
Zac & Josephine spend their days outside in one of our enclosures (just until they realize this is now home) and come into the house at night. They are still trying to figure out where they fit in with all the other cats here. But progress is being made and in no time they will be living every cats dream of running free around the farm with unlimited hunting opportunities, only to retire to the house at night fall for an evening of relaxation and pampering.
